I don't know how many of you use iGoogle but I have it set as my homepage. The various gadgets and RSS feeds allow me to keep track of my emails, reading list and feeds (like the SWTOR devtracker) and still look like I'm doing work :)
Anyway, frustrated by the lack of any decent Star Wars The Old Republic themes for iGoogle I decided to go ahead and make my own.
I decided to try my hand at a dynamic theme and came up with a design that contains 19 different header graphics that cycle depending on the time of day. Every hour the header graphic will change (apart from between the hours of midnight and 7am, when it will only change twice - no point in making lots of new graphics when they will rarely be seen!). It was pretty easy to do as the iGoogle site contains some pretty comprehensive instructions, and only required some basic knowledge of Powerpoint, SVN, and xml coding.
This is how the theme looks in iGoogle (click to embiggen!)

The theme was designed so that the iGoogle search box and logo will not obscure the graphics (a problem with the majority of user-created themes), and to have a unified and Star-Warsy colour scheme.
The theme has been submitted to Google for inclusion in their theme directory, but it won't appear there for a couple of weeks. If you'd like to try it in the meantime however you can do so by using the following url as your iGoogle page:
P.S. When Google adds the theme to the formal iGoogle theme gallery I'll post a link here.
EDIT: The iGoogle theme has been updated and added to the official iGoogle theme gallery. See here for details.
